ABOUT BRUCE

PADI IDC Staff Instructor on the Isle of Man

Bruce started diving back in 1996 and did his PADI Open Water Diver course in Natal, South Africa, on the Aliwahl Shoal. After taking some time out to do some skydiving and traveling he ended up on Koh Toa in Thailand. It was there that he decided that a life in diving was for him.

While there, Bruce completed the PADI Advanced, PADI Rescue, the PADI Divemaster Courses as well as the PADI Deep, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Photography, Enriched Air and Equipment Specialty courses.

On returning to the Isle of Man, he met up with Dave Hargreaves who had just started up Mann Scuba Divers and who persuaded Bruce to complete the IDC in Malta at Gozo Aquasports with Course Director Clive Albon. Since passing the PADI Instructor Exam in 2005, Bruce has never looked back and continues to enjoy both teaching PADI Courses as well as continuing with his own education. It is because this that Bruce progressed onto PADI IDC Staff Instructor in 2006, again with Clive.Certificate of Recognition

Because of Bruce's firm believe in the PADI Continued Education philosophy, and his belief in providing the best and up to date training possible for his students that he continues to keep up to date with PADI courses, and can now offer almost all of the PADI Specialty Diver Courses (see the Certifications page for more details).
